Tambakrejo Beach
is a favorite beach destination in Blitar. This beach is administratively
located in Tambakrejo Village, Wonotirto District, Blitar Regency, East Java.
The white sandy
beach which is located approximately 30 km south of Blitar City is located in a
bay with a coastline reaching 10 km. Unlike other beaches facing the Indian
Ocean, tourists here are allowed to bathe and swim at this beach, especially in
the afternoon when the sea water begins to recede.
This beach has
been supported by access and complete supporting facilities. Besides enjoying
the beauty of the beach, tourists can also shop fresh fishermen's catches at
the fish auction place or try smoked fish from Tambakrejo Fish Market on the
lips of the beach.
In addition to the fishing village, this beach is also
famous for the offerings ritual which is carried out every year in October.
